Sami Shanman is a Los Angeles born and raised illustrator, animator, and storyteller now based in New York. She is pursuing a BFA in Illustration at the School of Visual Arts.  
Her past experiences have included a summer interning for the Production Management team at Nickelodeon, and an ongoing, three year long stint as a sign artist for Trader Joe's.

She loves to bring the world around her to life by shining a light on stories hidden within everyday magic. She also loves to build characters and bring visitors along through fun and inviting worlds. 

When she's not hunched over a tablet drawing, you can find her climbing rocks, biking around the city, or frolicking in the sun.
